Eligibility

  • Students should have secured above the 80th percentile in their Class 12 exams. 
  • Family income should not exceed a stipulated limit (currently Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum). 
  • Students must be pursuing a regular course at the graduate or postgraduate level. 
  • They should not be receiving any other scholarship or fee reimbursement. 

Application Process

  1. Apply Online: Students apply for the scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal. 
  2. Submit Documents: Applicants need to upload scanned copies of documents such as their mark sheet, fee receipt, and photograph. 
  3. Institution Verification: The application must be verified by the student’s institution or college to be considered valid. 

Key Features:

  • Gender Equity: 50% of the total scholarships are reserved for girl students. 
  • Regular Courses: Scholarships are for regular (non-correspondence) degree and professional courses in colleges and universities. 
  • Students belonging to reserved categories/weaker sections /minorities etc. are eligible to get benefit of reservation on the basis of merit, subject to Central Reservation Policy
