The Department of Management Sciences (DoMS) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) offers a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the 2026–2028 academic batch. Eligibility Criteria

For General, EWS & OBC(NCL) Candidates

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university or institution with an aggregate of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale.
  • The degree qualification must entail at least three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling or equivalent, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level.

For SC/ST & PwD Candidates

  • Valid CAT-2025 score with a minimum 55 percentile in overall score.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks or a CPI of 5.0 on a 10-point scale.
  • The educational requirement for Mathematics is the same as above.

Final-year Candidates

  • Candidates appearing for the final degree examination may also apply provisionally; admission will be confirmed only after fulfilling all degree requirements before joining the MBA programme.
