Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

  • Must have completed or be about to complete:
    • All parts of the MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) or both parts of the MJDF (Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Must have at least 12 months of clinical pathway experience and clear career aims.
  • It is desirable to have:

  • Must hold membership of either:
    • The British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS), or
    • The British & Irish Society for Oral Medicine (BISOM).
  • Must be fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
